FUNCTIONAL STRUCTURES IN THE ASPECT OF GRAMMATICALIZATION

The article aims to consider the functional structures of the Spanish language in the situation of causation of emotional modification. The situation is described as circumstances with the subject influencing the object of causation and causing a change in the emotional state. Functional structures are verbal-nominal constructions. The functional verb is a causative operator, the nominal part is an emotive. In the structures under consideration, the nominal component is represented by a deverbative, the verb is desemantised. Grammaticalization is the transition from lexical to grammatical status. As a result, we developed the classification of functional structures of the Spanish language with three groups: units that actualize the positive negative states of the object of causation, negative ones, as well as functional structures that contain both modifications in their semantics, depending on the context, they reveal one of two emotions – positive or negative.
