FORMATION OF THE FUTURE ENGINEERS READINESS FOR PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY: PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE

The quality of education is one of the controversial concepts, so we took into account the multiplicity of its meanings. What we have added to its existing characteristics is the substantiation of one of the possible models of quality management, based on the continuous assessment of educational results and their compliance with regulatory requirements, social and personal expectations. For high-quality practical training of future engineers, it becomes important to develop their applied qualifications. For these purposes, the following forms of training are used: educational practice, industrial practice, laboratory classes, practical classes, excursions to industrial enterprises, internships. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the possibility of implementing applied qualifications (based on activity-practical criteria) in the areas of basic training at a university. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the determination of methodological conditions that allow future engineers to most effectively acquire applied qualifications. As a result of the study, it was established that the applied qualifications obtained by students allow them to master the practical skills that are necessary in mastering their main specialty, feel confident in the labor market and increase the likelihood of employment in their specialty after receiving higher education.
