The article presents an example of conducting a master class to improve the professional competencies of students of speech pathologists. An example of conducting correctional and developmental classes with children of the first years of life using speech therapy rhythmics, musical games, interaction games and finger games is considered. The methods used in the process of work are described. The main stages of the master class, its content, description of the participants' activities and the materials used are highlighted.
