Dentistry is one of the fastest growing medical specialties, which imposes high demands on the practical training of dental students. This article discusses options for using simulation technologies in training future dentists, and analyzes their advantages and disadvantages. Modern simulation technologies allow students to develop the skills and abilities necessary for clinical work, and also provide an objective assessment of the level of their practical training. Simulation training for dental students is a necessary complement to other stages of the educational process, in particular clinical practice.
