LINGUISTIC PRAGMATICS OF ISLAMISMS IN BILINGUAL AND POLYLINGUAL COMMUNICATION IN MODERN RUSSIA

The article is devoted to the consideration of the linguistic and pragmatic potential of the lexical units of Islam in the conditions of the multicultural space of the Russian Federation. The purpose of the article is to identify intralinguistic and extralinguistic factors that determine the functioning of the lexical units of Islam in the textual and discursive space. The lexical units of Islam reflects a religious ideology that unites all peoples who have accepted Islam, which determines their decisive role in communication between Muslims of the Russian Federation who belonging to different ethnic groups. The Russian language, in the conditions of bicultural and poly-cultural communication, phonetically, grammatically, and semantically transforms the lexical units of Islam borrowed from Arabic, Turkish, and Persian languages in accordance with its own linguistic specifics.
