DEVELOPMENT OF THE CIVIL IDENTITY OF STUDENTS OF THE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY BY MEANS OF ACTIVE TEACHING METHODS WHEN LEARNING A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

The article is devoted to the urgent problem of the development of the civic identity of students of the pedagogical university. The authors explore active methods of teaching a foreign language that contribute to the organization of an effective development process of the quality in question. The researchers concretized the concepts of civil identity of university students, identified and described methods of teaching a foreign language, the condition for their use in order to form the studied quality to achieve the goal. The most effective methods are the role-playing game method and the project method, provided that they are applied within the framework of ICT technology.
