DIAGNOSTICS OF STUDENTS` SATISFACTION WITH THE CHOICE OF A TEACHER`S PROFESSION

The purpose of this study is to identify the level of satisfaction with the professional choice of future physical education and sports teachers. Empirical data were obtained using the methodology of assessing satisfaction with the choice of profession by N. V. Kuzmina, A. A. Rean, comparing and processing the results obtained. The article presents a theoretical analysis of the problem of the attractiveness of the profession of a physical education and sports teacher for students. The concept of "satisfaction with the choice of a teacher's profession in the field of physical education and sports" has been supplemented. It was found that the developed training course "Pedagogy and interaction in professional activity" increases the level of student satisfaction with the choice of profession (the overall high level of satisfaction with the profession = + 0.58). The theoretical approaches to the research problem presented in the article, practical developments of diagnostic techniques, as well as suggestions and recommendations for the use of the course "Pedagogy and interaction in professional activity" in the educational process can be used by researchers and practitioners in the field of pedagogy.
