The article presents the results of a comparative analysis of the lexeme “do” as a component of dictionary interpretations of the concepts of behavioral action and the verb “ to do” as a verbalizer of behavioral relations in different linguistic cultures – Italian and English. Cross-linguistic comparison allows for contributions to the study of language and culture.
