The article is devoted to the problem of translating Russian brands in the food product category into Chinese. A body of Russian trademarks that sell well in China was formed, and their classification was given. The possibility of using automatic translation of trademarks from Russian into Chinese is being explored. A detailed analysis of the translation results was carried out. A typology of automatic translation errors is presented, and recommendations for eliminating them are given.
