INDIVIDUALIZATION AS A PSYCHOLOGICAL, PEDAGOGICAL, AND DIDACTIC PHENOMENON

The authors of the article analyze the evolution of researchers’ aproaches to pedagogical and didactic concepts of differentiation, individualization, and personalisation. The authors analyze the similarities and differencies of these phenomena, and concentrate on the individualization, posing it as a didactic principle which determines the selection of content and technologies of teaching and learning that correspond to the modern needs and aims in education. Besides, the authors consider the principle of individualization in foreign language teaching as an unalienable consistuency of creating and developing a personalized learning area.
