This article is devoted to the theory of interpretation and research, which is based on the cognitive approach to the analysis of language. The main focus is on popular science texts published on German-language platforms aimed at a wide audience. The main objective of the study is to identify key factors influencing the characteristics of the transmission of scientific knowledge and information in these texts. The study is distinguished by its uniqueness, since a popular science text is considered as a complex, multi-level system of linguistic means, in which each level plays an important role in the formation of the final meaning. The main research method is linguistic-stylistic analysis, which made it possible to analyze in detail not only the linguistic structure of texts, but also their stylistic features, which ultimately made it possible to more deeply understand the mechanisms of knowledge transfer in popular science materials.
