The article analyzes the specifics of training within the framework of vocational training, additional vocational education, taking into account the use of a distance learning environment, personnel of fire and rescue units engaged in practical activities and the number of industrial accidents. Low level of education due to a significant number of training sessions conducted using e-learning, distance learning technologies; a weak manifestation of responsibility for familiarizing firefighters, department commanders, fire truck drivers, fire communication dispatchers with educational information provokes a high probability of injuries in the workplace; a decrease in the number of practical classes conducted in the full-time period does not allow the necessary professional competencies to be properly formed. The announced analytical results may be used in the implementation of the educational process of officials of the FPS of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia and in planning activities aimed at improving working conditions.
