PEDAGOGICAL POTENTIAL OF DECORATIVE AND APPLIED CREATIVITY OF STUDENTS IN THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS

Decorative and applied arts and creativity accompany a person throughout his life, and humanity throughout his entire history. The analysis of the literature carried out by the authors allowed us to conclude that the problem of preparing future teachers for organizing arts and crafts in technology lessons is insufficiently theoretically developed. The authors consider arts and crafts in education as a way of creative and conscious mastery of reality in the process of creating objects of arts and crafts, realizing the aesthetic development of the student’s personality during art education, allowing him to reveal the abilities inherent in nature and develop his productive imagination. The authors proposed a classification of types of arts and crafts and directions for the development of a student’s personality through arts and crafts.
