GENERAL PRINCIPLES OF TEACHING PHYSICAL EDUCATION TO UNIVERSITY STUDENTS FROM THE AESTHETICS POINT

The article reveals an actual problem of teaching physical education to university students from the point of view of the aesthetic component. The purpose of the article is to identify the basic principles of teaching physical education from the standpoint of aesthetics. The research objectives are to systematize and generalize the existing points of view on the problem under study in modern scientific literature, as well as to identify the basic principles of teaching physical education from the standpoint of the aesthetic component. The research methodology is based on a systematic approach and includes a group of general scientific methods (analysis, synthesis, generalization, systematization), as well as a number of special methods: historiographic analysis of scientific literature on the topic of research, the method of non-participant pedagogical observation, the method of systematization of results. Based on the research results, the author concluded that in the process of physical education and physical education training, not only informational, practice-oriented, but also aesthetic components are important, when students clearly understand the proportions and beauty of the human body, which are formed in the process of physical activity. The general principles of physical culture in this case are that a healthy lifestyle is actually the key not only to health and longevity, but also to beauty.
