METAPHOR IN THE LINGUISTIC WORLDVIEW IN THE ENGLISH ADVERTISEMENTS OF FOOD

This article defines the role of metaphor in the formation of the linguistic worldview and also in the creation of certain images, which can have an individual national character or be the same in different languages. Metaphor should be studied as a cognitive means and a culturally-marked linguistic layer, which reflects perception and comprehension of the world by representatives of different languages and cultures.
