THE LANGUAGE OF MANSI CHILDREN’S FOLKLORE (BASED ON TEXTBOOKS ON THE MANSI LANGUAGE OF THE 1940S)

the article analyzes the texts of children’s folk art published in textbooks on the Mansi language in the 1940s. The linguistic features of such genres of folklore as fairy tales, riddles, songs. The material under study allowed us to conclude that each genre of children’s folklore is distinguished by its peculiar structure, extraordinary turns of speech. Many texts are constructed in the form of a dialogue. Household vocabulary is common, reflecting the realities of Mansi life at the time when this work was published. The most commonly used vocabulary is related to traditional types of economics – hunting, fishing and reindeer husbandry.
