The article discusses the features of pedagogical control in sports training with an emphasis on fire and rescue sports. Special attention is paid to the specifics of departmental fire and rescue sports in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, the importance of pedagogical control at various stages of the training process, as well as practical methods of such types of control of athletes as physical, technical and tactical types of training. The article provides examples of the successful application of control in the training of firefighters and rescuers, analyzes errors and ways to correct them and evaluates its effectiveness in improving athletic performance.
