DESIGNING A MODEL FOR TRAINING FUTURE PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHERS FOR ORGANIZING COMPETITIVE ACTIVITIES

The social order in modern education determines its focus on developing a harmonious personality of a student who has a large store of scientific knowledge, a developed spiritual world and formed physical skills and abilities. In this regard, much attention is paid to the professional development of future teachers, including physical education and sports. Today, the training of future physical education teachers is built using the theory and methodology of physical education to develop special skills and abilities that will allow them to organize competitive activities at a high level. It follows that the training of a future physical education teacher should be aimed not only at studying the theory and methods of physical education, but also the technique of performing sets of exercises, methods and techniques for organizing competitions of various levels with students. The article substantiates the importance of expanding the range of knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for students of the Faculty of Physical Education, Sports and Tourism for the effective organization of competitive activities of schoolchildren. Modern requirements for the training of future teachers in the field of physical education and sports are analyzed. According to the results of the experimental study with students, we have established unsatisfactory indicators of the formation of skills in organizing sports and competitive events. This determined the relevance of designing a model for preparing future teachers to organize competitive activities of students in compliance with pedagogical methods and means.
