THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE EMOTIONAL RESOURCES OF THE FUTURE COUNSELOR AS A CONDITION FOR MAINTAINING THE PSYCHOLOGICAL SAFETY OF ADOLESCENTS

The effectiveness of the counselor's activity, measured by the quality of its implementation regarding the recreation and wellness of children and adolescents in a health camp, depends on many factors at work. The most important of them include the emotional stability of the counselor, which affects the organization of an emotionally positive atmosphere in the group of pupils, as well as leading to the restoration and preservation of psychological safety in stressful and conflict situations. The article offers an analysis of the training program, as a result of participation in which future counselors managed to develop their own emotional resources, which later became one of the most important conditions for maintaining the psychological safety of adolescents in a children's health camp. The developed and implemented program consisted of modern interactive psychological and pedagogical technologies and techniques aimed at restoring and maintaining the resource state of the counselor. The formats and locations of the program implementation include educational workshops, preventive meetups, psychological intensive courses, preventive workshops, eco-art therapeutic activities. Participation in the program contributed to the improvement of emotional self-regulation, self-control and conflictogenic competence of future counselors in stressful situations, and further ensured the successful solution of the tasks of preserving the psychological safety of the groups of adolescents.
