«SPRING LILACS» IN A FOREIGN LAND: THE «EASTER POEMS» OF A. PARKAU

The article examines the poems of A. Parkau, a poetess of the Russian "Eastern" foreign countries, dedicated to Easter. A. Parkau's lyrics are put into the context of other prose and poetic works of "Easter themes" created in Russian literature of the 19th - early 20th centuries. The peculiarities of the embodiment of the main Easter themes and motives in the poetess's works - spiritual transformation of man, empathy for other people's suffering, ability to forgive and rejoice, as well as love for neighbors - are revealed. A. Parkau's Easter lyrics were characterized, on the one hand, by a connection with modernity, and on the other hand, by an appeal to reflections on the future of Russia and the fate of Russian people, emphasizing the motives of faith and hope.
