SOME METHODOLOGICAL TRANSFORMATIONS OF THE CONTENT OF TEACHING COORDINATE SYSTEMS AND COMPLEX NUMBERS IN HIGHER SCHOOL MATHEMATICS

The article introduces the concept of "methodological transformation of the teaching content" into pedagogical science. This means transforming the learning content with methodological goals. The overall goal is to improve the quality of education. In particular, the goals are to increase the degree of friendliness of the learning content in relation to the learner, to facilitate the understanding and assimilation of the learning material by the learners. The general pedagogical principles of applying methodological transformations of the teaching content in universities are proposed for discussion. The article presents as examples a system of methodological transformations of the teaching content on the topics of "Coordinate systems" and "Complex numbers" in the context of teaching mathematics in higher education. In universities, these topics are usually traditionally studied in the mathematical courses "Higher Mathematics" and "Analytical Geometry and Linear Algebra", however, it should be noted that the topic "Complex numbers" rather refers to the discipline "General Algebra". The study of these two topics in the secondary school mathematics course is also discussed.
