THE PRACTICE OF RATIONALIZATION OF ESTATES IN THE ECONOMIC EXPERIENCE OF LARGE LANDLORDS OF THE LATE XIX – EARLY XX CENTURY

The article describes the understanding of rationalization in the economic activities of large landlords in the late XIX – early XX century. It is shown that the attitude of contemporaries to the problem of rationalization of economic activity was contradictory and depended on the economic situation of the agricultural sector.
