Data is provided on pharmaceutical purchases, on the first government, military and private pharmacies in Siberian cities. Data is presented on the responsibilities of order pharmacies and on the system of training pharmacists. The role of the Society of Doctors of the Yenisei Province in the organization of pharmacy business is analyzed.
