FEATURES OF THE INTERPRETATIONS OF ADMIRAL A.V. KOLCHAK’S ACTIVITIES IN THE MEMOIRS OF THE WHITE EMIGRATION

The article analyzes the memories of the White emigration about the activities of A.V. Kolchak. The object of the source analysis is the corpus of memories. It consists of both published memoirs and previously unused memoirs. The prerequisites that influenced the formation of interpretations by their authors are indicated. One of the key things is individual experience. The specificity of the memoirs of the White Emigration as a historical source lies in the search by memoirists for explanations of their situation.
