MECHANISMS OF UNDERSTANDING, MENTAL REPRESENTATION AND PROCESSING PHRASEOLOGICAL MEANING

This article follows the modern anthropocentric paradigm associated with the desire to describe phraseological meaning as a structure of knowledge that includes all types of information displayed by phraseology. In this regard, modeling the actual meaning of idioms as a result of processing certain information about the world comes to the fore. It is noted that in the cognitive aspect, phraseology is the realization of one of the types of conceptualized metaphors. Based on the material of phraseological units of the German language from electronic media, it is shown that, depending on the communicative situation, either the action, its performer, or the one to whom it is directed, etc. is emphasized in the conceptual scheme. It is postulated that the processing of phraseological meaning is not a unified mechanism and depends on individual and collective principles in the mind of a native speaker.
