PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS OF THE MODERN RUSSIAN LITERARY LANGUAGE: FUNCTIONAL AND LINGUOCOGNITIVE ASPECTS

The article presents the anthropocentric nature of the study of phraseological units, associated with the desire to study the communicative purpose of phraseological units and describe the entire palette of information carried by phraseological units. In the cognitive aspect, phraseology is considered as a unit of a language phenomenon, a microtext that includes all types of information in the form of a convolution. The author substantiates the originality, brightness, imagery, emotionality and evaluativeness of such means of the Russian language as phraseological units. They contribute to the creation of a meaningful, expressive picture of the world, the uniqueness of which lies in the perception of sensually tangible, visual images based on associative perception and perceived against the background of a holistic generalized figurative meaning of phraseology.
