AN ASSOCIATIVE-VERBAL FIELD MODEL OF THE CONCEPT «RUSSIAN LANGUAGE»

This article explores the concept of РУССКИЙ ЯЗЫК. The study presents a model of the associative-verbal field of the concept, based on data obtained through a free association experiment (FAE) with 100 respondents, resulting in 448 associations to the stimulus word РУССКИЙ ЯЗЫК. The research findings reveal the dominant associative links reflecting cognitive, cultural, and emotional connotations of the concept РУССКИЙ ЯЗЫК, contributing to a better understanding of the mechanisms underlying the formation of linguistic consciousness and national identity.
