SEMIOTICS OF THE CONCEPT OF "WOMAN": SIGN AND IMAGE

The article describes the hypotheses of scientists and researchers about the modern trend of semiotics. The connection of semiotics with the concept is investigated, as well as the similarity and difference between the concept and the image. The semiotic signs and images of the concept "woman" in proverbs and literary works are considered. The method of separation and distinction between semiotic signs and images of the concept of "woman" is analyzed.
