The research relevance lies in the increasing role of distance learning in the system of higher professional education. In particular, the use of artificial intelligence in distance learning allows to increase its efficiency, adaptability and individualization. The research goal is to identify the main directions of application of artificial intelligence algorithms in distance learning at the university. The objectives are: to assess the current state of AI use at the university; as well as to consider the most effective technologies based on artificial intelligence that can be applied in the educational process of the university.
The research methods include: theoretical analysis of scientific literature and existing cases of AI application in education; comparative analysis, which allows you to draw a holistic picture of the introduction of artificial intelligence in the process of distance learning at the university.
Conclusions formulated on the results of the study: the use of AI contributes to improving the quality of education by personalizing the educational process, automating administrative tasks and creating interactive training systems within the framework of higher professional education.
