                         The article focuses on the development of linguocultural competence in Russian as a foreign language classes through the analysis of a literary text. A methodological framework is presented for a class dedicated to the poem «On seashore far a green oak towers» by A. S. Pushkin. The structure of the framework includes pre-text, inter-text, intra-text (textual analysis), and post-text activities. Each stage plays a significant role in preparing students for the perception and comprehension of literary texts in Russian.
