The article examines the role of folklore wisdom in the formation of students' patriotism. The paper examines the educational significance of Russian proverbs and sayings, their influence on the spiritual and moral development of a person. The authors analyze how folk wisdom contributes to strengthening national identity, respect for traditions and love for the Motherland. Special attention is paid to the practical aspects of using proverbs and sayings in the educational process, including methods of their implementation in the school curriculum and extracurricular activities.
