Moiseev Nikita Dmitrievich  (postgraduate student of the Department of History, Institute of Social and Humanitarian Sciences Tyumen State University Russia )

The article examines the legal status of Jewish communities in Nuremberg during the 14th–15th centuries based on the analysis of archival documents and legislative acts of the Holy Roman Empire. The methodology includes historical-legal analysis and source criticism. The results demonstrate that the Jews’ status oscillated between imperial protection and local restrictions, ultimately leading to their expulsion in 1499. Key factors influencing legal regulation are identified: the city’s economic interests, religious conflicts, and the central authority’s policies.
