THE EDLEHE CONCEPT IN THE LINGUISTIC PICTURE OF THE BURYAT WORLD

The purpose of the study is to analyze the Buryat concept of "edlehe", which has a wide range of features of the national specifics of the Buryat mentality. Modern linguistics is developing new approaches in research, the object of which is the cultural code of the nation, reflected in the language, the authors focus on mental features and identification of the unique specifics of the representation of national concepts. The article describes the concept of "edlehe" in the Buryat language, revealing a wide range of features of the national mentality of Buryats in terms of moral and ethical attitudes. The scientific novelty of the research consists in the application of methods of component and conceptual analysis, the study of its positive and negative connotations by the method of definitional analysis of the name of the concept in Buryat dictionaries, as well as the relevance of the studied ideas in the conceptual picture of the world of native speakers. The conceptual component of the concept of "edlehe" in the Buryat language is formed by its basic meanings, fixed in the definitions of lexical and graphic sources. As a result of the research, the role of the Buryat language in the self-identification of an individual was rethought in the light of cultural and creative development and integration into the world linguistic space. The concept is considered from positions that reveal its conceptual, figurative and value components.
