PECULIARITIES OF STRUCTURE AND CONTENT OF SUBCONCEPT OLD AS A PART OF CONCEPT AGE IN WORKS BY E. HEMINGWAY

This article examines the cognitive features of the subconcept old, verbalized in Hemingway's novella "The Old Man and the Sea." The data obtained as a result of semanticщ-cognitive analysis of a literary text is presented in the form of a hierarchy. The means of nominating subconcept features were also analyzed, which we classified into primary nomination, secondary nomination, and plot connotation. As a result of the research, a set of subconcept fields was obtained, filled with specific content reflecting the individual author's picture of the world.
