MODERN APPROACHES TO CORPORATE TEACHING OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES TO ADULTS: LEARNING TO SPEAK IN SHORT-TERM COURSES

The article focuses on modern methods of corporate teaching of foreign languages to adults with a focus on the development of speaking skills in short-term courses. There is an increasing need for corporate language learning, especially English, due to the globalization of the business environment and the need for effective communication with foreign partners. The purpose of this article is to analyze modern approaches to teaching adult speaking in short–term corporate language courses. For this purpose, the theoretical basis is discussed – communicative linguistics, then the features of corporate training (taking into account professional vocabulary and context), the specifics of the adult audience and motivation are considered. Separate sections are devoted to the role of technology and new methods, the peculiarities of adult learning are revealed – their professional goals, psychological barriers and self-motivation factors are taken into account. The application of modern technologies (online platforms, mobile applications, etc.) in corporate language programs is considered, as well as the introduction of new methods (micro-learning, gamification, project method, blended learning, etc.). A comparative analysis of communicative, project, game and mixed approaches in terms of the effectiveness of oral skills development is carried out. In conclusion, the need for an integrated approach combining best practices and taking into account the context of corporate training is emphasized in order to achieve rapid and sustainable results in short-term courses.
