The article is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of communicative strategies functioning in the religious discourse of English-language media texts. The relevance of the study is due to the rapid growth of the influence of digital platforms on the processes of broadcasting sacred meanings, values and norms in modern society. The aim of the work is to identify and systematize speech strategies aimed at persuasion, sacralization, emotional involvement, and identity formation implemented in the genres of digital religious communication, such as video blogs, online sermons, and media services of preaching content. The article reveals the interpretation of the concepts of "discourse" and "religious discourse", analyzes the characteristics of religious discourse, its place in the system of types of institutional communication, its genre features and value components. In addition, the article considers various approaches to the definition of the concept of "communicative strategies" in modern linguistic research, identifies such communicative strategies of religious discourse as a calling strategy, affirmative strategy, inclusive strategy, narrative strategy, prayer strategy, and analyzes their linguistic implementation.
