After analyzing scientific and methodological materials and regulatory acts concerning the quality control of the educational process in professional educational institutions, several key conclusions can be formulated. The process of education quality management represents a complex of operational measures ensuring the compliance of educational services with established standards and timely elimination of detected deviations. In current educational management practice, monitoring serves as a tool for information support of the internal assessment system. Its essence lies in the systematic study of qualitative characteristics of the educational process, including material and technical resources and achieved results. This allows the institution's management to make balanced and timely management decisions. The development of an educational monitoring program requires detailed definition of controlled parameters and corresponding indicators. This takes into account the needs of the management system, the organizational structure of the institution, and information flow schemes. It is also important to determine the methodology for data processing and assign responsible persons for each stage of monitoring procedures. The effectiveness of monitoring directly depends on the quality of its information and analytical basis - its completeness, objectivity, and reliability. A key factor in successful monitoring organization is the development of an optimal set of education quality assessment criteria expressed through specific indicators. It should be noted that currently there is no unified system of indicators for monitoring education quality. Despite the existence of various approaches to forming a list of significant parameters and criteria, the tools for assessing the achievement of strategic guidelines in the training of mid-level specialists remain insufficiently developed.
