The article deals with various aspects of developing personal growth skills, i.e. the essence of the concept, the range of existing skills, and most socially demanded skills, in particular those developed in the process of learning foreign languages. The authors make a survey of scientific and practical research related to the formation of personality skills and qualities and rely on the analysis of the opinion poll aimed at finding out the attitude of the students involved in management education to personality development in the context of preparation for professional activities. The aim of the present research is to reveal the attitude of future managers to the growing interest in different aspects of youngsters’ personality formation and determine the trend in further development of personal growth skills taking into account the students’ opinion. The research is conducted within the framework of constant monitoring the effectiveness of foreign language learning process in a non-linguistic university.
