The relevance of this study is due to the need to adapt the traditional system of choreographic education to modern requirements for training highly qualified specialists with a high level of performing skills, capable of creative interpretation in their professional activities. The purpose of the study is to systematize modern pedagogical methods of teaching choreographic art in Russian choreographic schools in order to determine the most effective methods of professional training of future ballet dancers. The theoretical foundations of pedagogy in the field of choreographic education in Russia are analyzed. Modern pedagogical methods used in Russian choreographic schools are presented. The effectiveness of various pedagogical methods in terms of developing performing skills is considered. It is concluded that the experience of Russian choreographic schools demonstrates the adaptability of the education system through the integration of innovative methods for developing performing arts in students.
