The article is an attempt to describe the problem of the influence of linguistic description on processes occurring in reality. The philosophy of Aristotle and Hegel serves as a methodological basis. How to deal with reality, not with language? We dare to suggest that the development of science is held back, among other things, because of the habit of linguistic patterns, which are not always an adequate way and means of expressing science, including scientific facts.
