ON THE ISSUE OF MONETARY ALLOWANCE OF THE EMPLOYEES OF THE SOVIET MILITARY ADMINISTRATION IN GERMANY AND THE GROUP OF SOVIET OCCUPATION FORCES IN GERMANY IN 1945-1946

The article is devoted to aspects related to the monetary allowance of the employees of the Soviet Military Administration in Germany and the Group of Soviet Occupation Forces in Germany in the first year and a half after the end of the Great Patriotic War. The study, using problem-chronological, comparative-historical, historical-systemic methods, clearly examines from what means, in what form, and according to what principles the financing of the activities of persons who found themselves in the territory of the defeated enemy's country was carried out. The author traces that throughout the studied time period there were differences in the system of payment for various categories of employees: military, civilian, civilian employees who held military positions, as well as military personnel performing their duties in civilian positions. The article also notes the differences, in some cases even quite significant, in the amounts of salaries received by representatives of the Soviet side and representatives of the Allied occupation forces stationed in other occupation zones.
