ON THE TEACHING OF LATIN LANGUAGE LEXIS IN A LAW UNIVERSITY

This article presents an attempt to develop and apply in practice methods of presenting and practicing lexical material, which, in our opinion, constitutes the novelty of the research. The development of new technologies for teaching Latin at a law school is carried out in order to find a model for organizing the educational process in the conditions of a limited amount of time for language training. The object of study in this article is the linguistic material characteristic of a professionally oriented style of speech, specific to the sublanguage of law, and relevant to professional speech as a special linguistic subsystem, which requires students to achieve a certain level of language competence.
