SEMANTIC PARAMETERS OF PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS IN LUZ GABÁS'S NOVEL “PALM TREES IN THE SNOW”

This article analyzes phraseological units functioning in the novel by the modern Spanish writer Luz Gabas “Palmeras en la nieve” (“Palm trees in the snow”). The study focuses on identifying and systematizing the semantic parameters of phraseological units that play a key role in creating historical and cultural context, as well as in the psychological portrayal of characters. The methodological basis of the work is semantic and contextual analysis, which allows us to determine the meaning of phraseological units and their pragmatic function in a fiction text. As a result of the study, key semantic groups of phraseological units were identified.
