THE STRATEGIC NATURE OF RUSSIA'S COOPERATION WITH THE ENTENTE COUNTRIES DURING THE FIRST WORLD WAR OF 1914-1917

The article analyzes the relations between Russia and the Entente countries, England and France, during the First World War. Russia played a crucial role in the Entente. The article emphasizes that Russia's relations with England and France were complex. The allies often relied on Russia's human resources. However, the Entente countries also recognized Russia's military capabilities. Even after the revolution and Russia's withdrawal from the war, Russia remained an important factor in the global conflict.
