FEATURES OF CONGRATULATION TEXTS FOR A MODERN RELIGIOUS HOLIDAY (BASED ON KABARDIAN AND BALKAR MUSLIM HOLIDAYS)

The purpose of the study is to consider the features of the congratulatory text for modern religious holidays celebrated in modern Kabardino-Balkaria. In the article, the genre of congratulatory text is considered as an element of the religious culture of Kabardians and Balkars; thematic content and compositional features of congratulatory texts are determined; its functions in the religious communication of modern Kabardians and Balkars are revealed. The scientific novelty lies in the fact that for the first time a unique empirical material is introduced into scientific circulation, based on the analysis of congratulatory texts for the religious holidays of Eid al-Adha (festival of conversation) and Eid al-Adha (festival of sacrifice), celebrated in Kabardino-Balkaria. The research material helps to expand the understanding of the role of religious congratulatory communication as a relevant mechanism for constructing and expressing ethnic identity in modern polycultural and polyconfessional society.
