ADMINISTRATIVE-TERRITORIAL STRUCTURE OF THE BUDENNOVSKY/TSILNINSKY DISTRICT OF THE TATAR ASSR

The article is devoted to the history of the administrative-territorial structure of the Tatar ASSR. It examines in chronological order the main changes in the Budennovsky/Tsilninsky district, established in 1935 and abolished in 1959. The work is based on published and archival sources. The study identifies the key transformations of the external borders and the reasons for the renaming of the district. The article provides statistical data reflecting: the territorial structure, the population, its national composition, as well as other quantitative indicators of the district at various stages of its existence.
