VERLAN AS A SOCIOLINGUISTIC PHENOMENON

The goal of this linguistic analysis is to identify and explain the verlanization of French words in the process of linguistic communication from a lexical and morphological perspective. This allows us to understand the development of the modern French language. The word formation mechanisms of verlanized vocabulary, which defines colloquial style, are explored. Verlan is also considered in its relationship to social groups and ethnicities.
