The article examines methodological foundations and technological features of organizing blended learning in higher and continuing professional education. The relevance of shifting to hybrid formats in the context of digital transformation, growing demand for individualized learning paths and lifelong learning is substantiated; it is argued that the combination of face‑to‑face and online formats creates additional opportunities for implementing competence‑based and activity‑based approaches. A conceptual model of blended learning based on competence‑based, activity‑based and andragogical approaches is proposed, and different ways of structuring blended courses are described. Technological aspects of blended learning implementation are analyzed, including the choice and integration of LMS platforms, video communication tools, assessment and analytics instruments, as well as the design of a digital learning environment. The results of approbation of the blended learning model in bachelor’s and continuing professional development programs are presented; it is shown that this format enhances student engagement and develops self‑regulation and digital skills while maintaining or slightly increasing academic performance indicators. The main challenges and limitations related to blended learning implementation are highlighted, and practical recommendations aimed at overcoming them are formulated.
