HISTORY OF THE KRASNOYARSK ENERGY SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT IN THE 1940S AND 1960S

This article is a historical study of the development of the energy system of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, starting from the period of the Great Patriotic War and ending in the early 1970s. The study includes an analysis of the stages of formation and modernization of the regional energy system. Special attention is paid to the creation of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Energy Management in July 1943 on the basis of two power plants in the city, which became the basis for the further development of the system. The emphasis is placed on the difficulties faced by workers in the energy sector during the Great Patriotic War. The article considers the modernization and large-scale expansion of the production infrastructure that took place in the post-war decades, with the introduction of new power plants and power transmission lines. The authors analyzed the steps to centralize the region's energy supply, change the structure of enterprises and technological solutions aimed at improving the reliability and efficiency of the energy system. Statistical data on the growth of installed capacity, the dynamics of the construction of power transmission lines and the number of personnel at the enterprises of the system are presented. The role of the energy system in meeting the needs of industry, transport, agriculture and urban life is shown.
