REFLECTION OF THE STATE OF THE MEDICAL AND SANITARY SERVICE OF THE WHITE MOVEMENT IN SOUTHERN RUSSIA AND SIBERIA IN THE MEMOIRS OF CONTEMPORARIES

This work is a study of the activities of the medical and sanitary service of the White Movement, based on the analysis of existing scientific papers and archival materials, as well as on the memories of direct participants in the events. This study presents valuable testimonies from medical professionals, officers, and generals of the White Movement, revealing the realities of their work. Special attention is paid to the problems faced by the medical and sanitary service in providing assistance to the wounded and sick in Southern Russia and Siberia. It was found that these difficulties were of a general nature, regardless of the specific region. The analysis of the collected sources made it possible to compare official departmental reports with personal records and memories of participants in those events.
